Does Avengers: Infinity War MCU movie have too many characters? Why or why not?

No. I do not think so.

It has nearly every character we’ve seen so far, yet it gives each one time to shine and be a part of the story. All the while allowing Thanos to develop and have some character development.ook at the poster. injustice 2 joker costumes

It managed to do the very thing that JL tried and failed so hard to do. Balance a ton of characters and yet introduce a new and meaningful character.

Of course the whole reason it could manage that was because almost all of the characters were already established and developed in other movies.

I’ve seen a number of questions here about what Marvel movies to see before seeing Infinity War. Before seeing it I figured you could get away only seeing a few. Like say Avengers and Black Panther, maybe Guardians of the Galaxy. green arrow and black canary costumes

But after having seen it, I say that if you really want to appreciate just how good it is, you have to watch all 18. You could maybe skip Iron Man 3… But other then that one, I think you need to have seen them all.

Because Infinity War broke the existing rules. The existing rule was you never assume that the audience seen the previous movies, unless it’s part of a trilogy or something. Like Star Wars or LotR, or even a longer anthology like the Harry Potter movies.

why did Spiderman feel something while others simply disintegrated?

In the scene spider-man takes longer to evaporate then all the others, unlike black panther who completely vanishes in seconds without saying goodbye spider-man feels something bad before holding onto tony as he slowly disintergrates. green arrow black canary cosplay

The reason for this from a creative stand point could be down to the physical effects of spider-mans’ powers. So his healing factor was fighting against the effect of the gauntlet before failing or as he says in the scene he just really didn’t want to go. His instinct to stay alive was so strong that he held on just for a few more seconds. space battleship yamato cosplay

The reason for this from a business stand point is entirely for tony stark’s reaction. No-one on team iron man other than peter actually had a relationship with tony stark so like with captain america’s reaction to Bucky dieing we get to see the horror on Tony’s face as he realizes that he put peter in that situation, separated him from his aunt and most importantly failed him as a hero. Spider-man says “i’m sorry” but tony believes he should be apologizing to peter for failing as a hero, a mentor and as a father figure.injustice joker costumes

The in-universe answer, if you want it to be: Spider-Sense. Because of Peter Parker’s Spider Sense, he was aware of what was happening to him in a way no one else was, and so he had time to feel it (“I don’t feel so good”) and react to it that others did not have. We’ve heard from behind the scenes that these lines were improv, so I’m sure this was not in the directors’ minds at all when filming this scene, but I think it's a perfectly good way to explain it if you’d like to have one.

Which movie can be hailed as a gem stone of CB movies?

The Dark Knight

Everything about The Dark Knight is great.

The movie is in every way how an action crime and drama movie should be bubbling with suspense, and a feeling that everything is important. The opening scene, where a bunch of masked clowns rob a bank while heartlessly offing one another sets the tone of the entire. We get to know that nobody’s intentions can be trusted. It is easily one of the best opening sequences in CBM history, and then the entire movie lives up to it charlie and the chocolate factory anime

Every action scene works. By the time they got to the hospital sequence I was already devastated for Harvey Dent. Everything matters, the stakes are high, people are going to live or die, but that choice is given to the people of Gotham. What will they do, who'll be the one to detonate the bomb and where is Batman when you need him so desperately.

Of course, a great superhero needs a greater for, and The Dark Knight has the best ever, both in character and in performance. Ledger managed to take one of the greatest villains of all-time and make him realistically fit into this pseudo real world of a masked-vigilante, all while being a cynical Joker. Even when the movie makes you think they missed by giving back-story on the Joker we don’t want (“Want to know how I got these scars?), it turns around and let’s you know it has it all under control (oh, all of these scar stories are just nonsense).

The movie was perfectly paced, exhilarating action movie. The Dark Knight in my was opinion was nothing short of perfect. green arrow and black canary costumes

Infinity War

This a movie about love, loss and balance. Thor loses the any semblance of family or friends. Hulk is terrified beyond measure. Starlord snapping during the confrontation. Wanda had to kill the love of her life only to watch Thanos resurrect him to kill him again. The final battle was an actual battle with military like strategies. Now coming to the baddie Thanos. He has seen his homeworld succumb to overpopulation and self-extinction. “The universe is finite, its resources are finite. If life remains unchecked, it will destroy itself”.According to him the only way to save the universe, half of it must die. So his objectives are very clear and MCU produced a good villian but….

1. Thanos snaps his fingers and suddenly half the population in the universe disintegrates. He achieves the balance he so desperately wanted. Then we see a whole bunch of characters who we know can't die, die. We know that the Guardians of the Galaxy will be back for a third film, so Peter Quill and Groot and Drax and Mantis can't all die. And because we know they can't die, we know that somehow the Time Stone (probably) will be used to "reset" the entire story. And that means that other deathslike Loki and Gamora might also be reset. All of this serves to negate the emotional content.
2. The unnecessary romantic moments between Cap, Black Widow and Bruce was really frustrating and we're ruining a great sequence abruptly. fire emblem oboro cosplay

Thus in my opinion The Dark Knight should be hailed as gem of CBMs
